Cookie Policy

AscendPrep uses a small number of cookies and similar storage mechanisms (localStorage, sessionStorage) to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or advertising.

What we use

• Authentication cookies (essential) — set by Supabase to keep you signed in. These are first-party, HTTP-only, and secure.
• Preference storage (essential) — small localStorage keys that remember your dashboard layout, language, and Maple voice on/off setting.
• Stripe checkout cookies (essential during payment) — set by Stripe on the checkout page to prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie disclosure for details.

What we do not use

• No third-party advertising cookies. We do not work with ad networks.
• No cross-site tracking pixels (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tracking).
• No fingerprinting beyond standard fraud-prevention signals from Stripe during payment.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and basic device/region buckets without using cookies and without storing IP addresses. We use this data only to understand which features are useful.

Your control

Modern browsers let you block or clear cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in. You can also clear local browser storage from your browser's privacy settings.

Changes

If we add any new cookie use we will update this page and notify active accounts in advance.
