SMS opt-in
AscendPrep · operated by Cook and Company Coaching Inc.
AscendPrep sends text messages only to people who ask for them. This page shows exactly how that consent is collected, so it can be reviewed without an account.
Where you opt in
During signup, and afterwards at Settings → Communications. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is entirely optional — creating an account and using AscendPrep never requires it. Consent is never a condition of purchase. You also have to add and verify a phone number before any message can be sent.
The exact wording

What we send
- Study reminders and streak nudges tied to your own study plan.
- Practice-test results and coaching follow-ups from Maple.
- Account and security alerts for your own account activity.
No promotions, no marketing, and no sales content. Message frequency varies, up to about 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also turn text messages off at any time in Settings → Communications. Opting out of SMS never affects your access to AscendPrep.
